Story by Darcy

Found in one of her books as I was clearing out (spellings corrected):

One dark morning I woke up. When I opened my eyes I saw a dinosaur land and a volcano. There was lots of flying dinosaurs and they looked a bit scary. Suddenly I realised that I was in a dinosaur land.

"Now I'm very scared", I said. "I want to go back home now", I said. Then I shrieked, "Mama! Papa!, I want to come home now!"

Then all of the dinosaurs were all around me in a circle. I thought they were going to eat me up! They were scared too.

"Are you all plant eaters?". They roared to say yes. "Is that a yes?", I said carefully. The next time they all roared I knew they said yes. But I don't know how, I just did. Just then I realised I was being chased by a .... T-Rex!

There were two has(?). I flew in one it took me back home.  It was a bit funny because he didn't know where I was. Finally it was time for bed.

Mum said "Where were you Darcy?".

"I was in my bed all the time" I said.

When she had gone out of the room I said, "..not".
